Ordered 2 tires and a set of turn signals to be ground shipped. The shipping and handeling charges came to $63.00 **normal shipping** Sure they have good prices but they quickly make it up in "S&H". It was my last order.

Yeah i've ordered a few things from maw and there handling charges are outrages.i ordered a spool stand b/c it was only 85.00 but by the time they added everything it was 115.00 for it and it took 2wks for me to get it when they said 3-5 days. dennis kirk is pretty good and so is the streetntrackimports.com that advertises on the heading of gixxer.com. I ordered brakelines from them and i got them in 2days and was only charged for the shipping that is normal for ups.

MAW is a bunch of thieves. Dealing with them is just asking to be screwed.

They are terrible! I bought a Maier side piece from them (I know, I know) and a set of Dana wires. The total came to a little over $40.00, and S/H was $20.00 ! (I'm in the same state!) to top it off, the side piece looked like crap so I sent it back, and they returned it! Said it was scratched! I called them about it, because I never even took it out of the bag, but they said tough!

I got my last set of tires from http://www.discountmotorcycletire.com

total to my door for a set of BT 010's was $206 and that was back in November. I think the tires cost me $180 so $26 for shipping not bad.

I ordered some gloves, race stand and a speed screenfrom them!!!They sent the speed screen separately from the rest of the order, It was for a busa graemlins/piss.gif unfortunately I own a 1000!!!They told me if I sent it back that I would have to pay for shipping and a restocking fee. I had to sell it here locally. I will never buy anything from them again, or any of the guys I ride with!!

I would have to begin to concur with you folks. I have ordered from them 3 times, everytime something was on clearance, so it was cheap. However, this last time, I ordered a 2-piece rain suit (you know, Nylon/PVC - musta weighed 2 pounds or so!) - you guessed it $20 for shipping & handling. Its a bummer too, because if you can find the right clearance stuff, you think you're getting a deal, but when its all said and done, you just got an 'average' deal. Oh well, live and learn!!

Below is what MAW replied to my e-mail with. I gave them a chance and they robbed me blind, so I really dont know what she's talking about.

Without knowing each specific incident, I am unable to

MAW sucks. graemlins/bash.gif I agree. Their prices are good, but their service sucks. I've ordered a few things from them. They tried to fix an order that they sent me the wrong sprocket and it took months to get it fixed and I got screwed on the cost of shipping the part back to them. What I do now is call and get MAW's price on a product (like tires) and then order from DennisKirk. They will match the price and beat it by $1. They always get it to me in a couple days too. Dennis Kirk rules! (for now at least....) graemlins/thumbup.gif

Hahaha, I knew my name would come up in this. To be frank, MAW sucks giant donkey balls. Outcold, you should probably call about your helmet, I'm about 75% sure their response to you will be "It's on backorder and we should be recieving it shortly" Then ask why they have already charged you CC images/icons/rolleyes.gif . They are the biggest bunch of scammers in our sport.

I will NEVER order from them again. BTW, if they read this. My bro appreciates his Dot approved helmet that ya'll promised was also SNELL approved, you lying bastards. images/icons/mad.gif

Webmaster<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Yeah? Well, I've "judged them" with my own experiences multiple times now. There are better and cheaper places out there (sometimes the same place, just gotta shop around and check ratings areas like this one), and actually I've been fairly pissed off with MAW in the past between shipping charges and the fact that it takes on average 3 weeks to get anything from them (ground shipping or not).

I tried to find their shop one day, only being about 45 min north of them. Mapquest directed me to some backwoods residential area. Wouldn't surprise me if MAW is really just some dude with a bunch of shit and a crackpipe in his garage. Might explain how their website has managed to remain so amazingly sub-par for so long.

Have heard GOOD things about: Kneedraggers, Ron Ayers, LP is usually ok, etc. I usually buy locally but next order I'll give either RA or kneedraggers a try depending on what I get.

I've had flushmount indicators on order for 9 months from MAW. "they are on back order sir"
Now who can sell me LP4 flushmounts. Looks as though the GIXER might end up in a TV comercial so I have to have them as soon as possible.

try parts411.com for the flush mounts. they are reasonable and quick response.
