Hey all in AZ. I am new to the tucson area. I moved recently from New Orleans because of the hurricane. I am going to U of A for grad school. I havent really met anyone to ride with and havent really explored the area. But i keep hearing about mt. lemmon and think saturday morning I am going to ride up and check it out. Just wanted to post that on here in case anyone else might be interested or want to get together some other time. I even heard about some bike night on wednesdays?? anyone, post back or shoot me an IM and maybe we can get a ride up. later

i would ride with you but as of right now my bike is down. as far as a bike night every thursday at mamas at speedway and swan. just west of swan on the south side of the street.

i ride mt. lemmon just about every sunday morning. if you are interested, we meet up at the circle k on houghton and speedway at 7:00am with a depature time of 7:30am to beat the traffic and cyclists.

Yeah I have a crew of about 5 or 6 guys so let me know and we can make the trip up there,then you guys can come here and ride Prescott,Payson,Gerome.that is what we usually ride on sundays

sounds good to me also. since i ride fairly early in the morning, it might work best if the phx guys came down on saturday night and start fresh in the morning. i could offer my place to crash if everyone was cool just crashing out on sleeping bags. just an idea, let me know.

yeah itll be quite cold i wore thermals underneath my leathers when we went up last week and still froze my ass off. i might be going up saturday morning because my roomates are having a party saturday night so i obviously will get no sleep. ill be there next sunday though. and a note about the cops. on our way down last weekend there was a cop that followed me down from the ranger station when we came back down. i didnt see him after a while but when we got to the bottom, we turned around to go back up with a big group that was just starting, and as we rounded the 2 or 3rd corner there he was, in the process of busting at least one of them. i didnt hang around to find out though and turned around. i dont remember what time it was but my guess is somewhere around 930 or 10. so just be mindful if you go up there slightly later.
