Whats up guys,I havent posted regularly in the pumper section since '01 but I think everybody here will appreciate this project.
I bought a '92 GSXR-600 with the intentions of doin a basic 6/11 swap.I got a '95 1100W engine from a friend who crashed and did the swap.Rode it for 1 week&decided to mod it.Took it completely apart after putting it completely together less than a week before
I ordered up:
-6mm Falicon billet stroker crank
-Carillo rods
-1298 SuperbikeMike billet block(dickhead)
-1298cc J.E.'s
-44 Megatron's(powerjets&rings+bored to a true 44mm)
-Sent the head to Gann and had him cut off the intakes and re-weld them on straight for Lectrons w/ 34in/28ex valves
-Had the top case bored
-Cope racing hand-fabricated&welded up a sidewinder
-RC 6.25"&3.5" wheels(the lite weight non D.O.T. approved ones)
Upon speaking to Blake at Gann,he said Superbike Mike's block's were notorious for mhaving their bore's out-of-round from the get go,so I sent him the block&pistons.He custom gas ported the pistons and when all was said and done I have 16.5:1 compression.
This engine is good for 240-245 rwhp
The chassis needs work,as it's been sittin for 6 yrs.Since I started the project,I got married,had a kid,built a new house&moved,blahh blahh,etc,
