i put in my pic upload nuber in the sig area in my profile buts its not popping up any ideas?

Well, for one you don't have the code right for the image.

except replace the {} with [].

But there is one more problem. The upload feature is great for posting a pic that you want to show one time in a thread, but the pics don't stay there forever, so your sig would eventually stop working. Also, it puts a little extra load on the server that will slow it down for everyone else. Not much, but if a lot of people did it, it would cause a problem.

You need to find somewhere to host your picture. Often times your ISP will give you a little web space, like 5 megs. otherwise look for a picture hosting site like www.photopoint.com (http://www.photopoint.com)

From there you can put a picture, then get the exact address of it by right clicking and choosing properties, and then copy and paste the location into your sig.

Also, I forgot to add, we limit sig pics on this site to 175 pixels in height, and 700 in width, so you will need to use a graphic editor to make that picture smaller. If you have Microsoft Offfice on your computer you should have the Microsoft Photo Editor, that works great for resizing.
