Some of you probably remember me. Some of you probably won't.
I've popped on here from time to time over the last few years and "input" my much limited knowledge on stuntin and such.
I was checking in today and it's god to see that the conversations on "how to clutch up a wheelie" and "shifting a wheelie" are still alive and well.
That's cool and all. As long as young peeps are buying sport bikes there are going to be questions on how to stunt them suckas.
You old timers on here, I'm sure you know who you are... I'm sure you are getting tired of answering the same five questions over and over. How to wheelie, how to stoppie, what gear, what speed, how much tire pressure... you get the idea. The thing is though, old timers... these guys are bright eyed and bushy tailed just waiting for your answer. They wasn't old enough to drive when you wrote your "manual" and they are young, full of piss and vinager, and don't have time to read through 70 pages of old threads to find your old news, hence, you are going to be rewritting the same news several times. You know what though, that's o.k. Because along with the garble about throttle wacking, on off on, second gear, clutch at 30, or whatever the newest wheelie flavor is for this month I'm sure, (without even looking), that you are also throwing in several "be carefuls" and "take your time" and "wear gear" advice that they are going to need even more then the specifics on how to hoist that balance point 2nd gear wheelie that goes for 1.7 miles. (I never beat that by the way, that's how much I suck!!!!)
Kudos to all you patient advise givers. Kudos to all you gear nazis. I can't believe this area is still going to strong after so much time has passed but ya know what? I'm glad.
When I have more time to play with yall maybe I'll double back and we'll have a big debate on sit-downs verses stand-ups for beginners.
Peace out!
