My daughter had the opportunity to spend the last couple of days in Las Vegas to see her cousin's relation race (Terren Odell). Terren is 14, like my daughter, and he ended up winning two championships yesterday, 85cc Super Mini and 85cc 12-15. Plus she got to meet and get autographs from Ricky Carmichael, Travis Pastrana, Nick Wey, Kevin Windham and a slew of others. Pretty cool, huh. Plus, she got to meet and have her pictures taken with some Sumo wrestlers from Japan. I'll post the pics up after they get developed. (Wish I could've got to do that stuff when I was 14. I was out feeding the damn cows and horses.)

That's awesome. I bet she had a blast. Maybe it had some influence on her. We'll see if she's asking you for a bike before long.

She has been riding bikes for a while now. She has an absolutely wicked RM85. She is starting to show an inclination to want a street bike when she gets her permit. I'm doing what I can on our rides together to teach her about driving defensively. Plus, she has several years experience under her belt from riding off-road.
