In theory its good, but in reality that strategy is only good for people with money most people who gamble low steaks cant afford to do that

No... it works. The problem is that the casino is hip to this game as well and that's why there is table limits. The minimum and maximum are all mathematically computed so that if you sit at a table for several hours... the house will win. Period.
You have a good chance of doing well but the first time you lose several hands in a row it starts to get painful awfully quick. Now, if there was no limit I would be living in Vegas right now.
