Theres a guy who came up w/ silicone balls (yes, balls, like testicles) for dogs who have been snipped. Why in the world would you spend the money to have fake balls put into your dog? Does it have something to do w/ show dogs? Do they lose points for not having balls? Other than that I really cant figure the reason for this.

Some people feel that they've traumatized their dogs I guess. That has to be the oldest news I've seen posted here yet. I'm out of college now, and people were talking about that shit back in my early days of high school.

I just saw it on my road runner news, I guess cause he just got some award for inventing them or something. Laser surgery I can understand tho cause doggies get cataracts and cant see shit.

I was riding my motorcycle past the local vet's office in one of the shopping centers nearby, and saw this sign out front:

I think the fake balls are more for the people then the dogs. Have you have seen ye ol' coin purse with nothing in it? It's pretty disturbing. Lookes like a mutated flap jack or something. That's why you should just use the castration bands. Gets rid of the balls and the purse

I think it actually started for dog shows. You can't show a dog with 1 ball but you can have a really nice looking dog who has a testicle that didn't descend properly when it was young. They put a fake ball in there and with only a quick fondle by the judges they can't really tell if they are real or fake.
