Alright; my girlfriend has some kind of minor seizure things. So her doc put her on topamax. The side effects are a mile long; and when she started her period became a bit irregular (she was always exactly 28 days). So she would miss it by a day or do.

Now, she was supposed to get it late thurs/early fri.

She missed three days of her meds from tues,wed,thurs.

Anyway, the period didn't happen; and its now sunday at 3:30pm.

just to answer the original question: you should be able to use pregnancy tests within the first two days after the expected start day or 28 days from the beginning of the last period. we use pregnancy tests at the hospital and they are near the same as what you can get from the store (EPT, in my opinion, is the best one to use).

anyways, congrats (i think) on not being a dad. keep it wrapped and get her on BC if she's not taking anymore meds. meds can interact with the BC and possibly lead to SERIOUS side-effects.

BC pills taken correctly (same time EVERY day) can be upwards of 95% protective against pregnancy.

-Women can get pregnant even when on their period
-Sperm can live several days, so if your girlfriend isn't fertile for 5 days (if you use that gay ass method) you can STILL get her pregnant
-pre-cum ..the clear stuff, can have semen in it so PULLING OUT DOES NOT PREVENT PREGNANCY, that clear stuff also helps neutralize the acidic environment of the vagina making it more hospitable for sperm
-DOUBLING UP ON CONDOMS CAUSES CONDOM BREAKAGE. Latex on latex does not mix, it causes more breaks as the friction between the two condoms wears the latex down
