find out at www.suzukihayabusa (http://www.suzukihayabusa) .org(the#1 busa site),get a bde, muzzy(Igot1),akro,much better pipe. From what I heard of the serp. on the other models they dont work in the real world as on paper in other words a DUDPIPE, sounds as if your a newby to this stuff.

DUD pipe?
That is a matter of opinion and not fact I think. Personally I love the Micron and just bought one for my 1K race bike. They are really high quality systems and deliver good power gains. I sell all kinds of pipes and had access to anything I wanted and I chose a full race serpent system. Akro is awesome as is Yosh etc but Micron is definitly top tier as well. I have had them all side by side and gone through them carefully looking at welds and design etc and the Micron stands out to me as being one of the best out there.

A good friend of mine did testing on the serpent pipe on his Honda 929 for micron, and compared to his regular micron pipe, the serpent didn't make any more power on the dyno, matter of fact it made 2 hp less, and was also a pain to install with the pipes being flat right were the bolts go to mount it..I have a MUZZY pipe on my busa, and To tell you the truth wasn't happy puting a Kawajunky part on my SUPERSUZUKI But I'll tell you,for the money you just can't beat the MUZZY,Looks/sound great and makes good power,Mine made over 172 RWHP with no tuning, switching from a Regular HINDLE pipe and adding a 2nd Intake cam..

Just my 0.02

I logged 16k miles. Due to $$ reasons I had to sell her. But things are looking better for a couple years from now. I just know a friend with a gix 1000 who put out 161 rwhp. May be I should just stay stock after all. I hadn't realized there was some contriversy with this pipe. By the way my Busa STOCK dyno'd at 160. 6k miles later WITH a PC 2, Micron full race system it dyno'd at 156?!?! images/icons/frown.gif

Maybe stock is the way to go. I left my GSXR-600 stock and couldn't see any distinct difference between other bikes in the class for acceleration.

But thanks everyone for the input, gfood to be back to the forum images/icons/cool.gif

Good riding to all graemlins/cheers.gif

do your homework, yosh is a nice pipe I got 1 on my 90 gixx. as far as busa pipe IT SUCKS compared to many others , the micron "WAS" a good pipe when the busa came out because there was no comp. now there are many, akro, muzzy, bde, this has been proven on the dyno(many times). graemlins/bannana.gif
