I got other bikes that need put together so the 600 has to go. I was really surprised the amount of power the new 600's got. It feels pritty much identical to my 01 750. I got a 04 R1 project goin, well not really going anywhere but now that the 600 is out of the shed I have room and $$$ to bring the R1 home to hopefully make some progress on. The gixxer has a lot more power, brakes on the gixxer seem better to me, riding position on the gixxer is better. I just can't get used to the kawasaki's. Thx...still debating on if I wanna paint up the 1000 over winter. The upper is scratched on right side is tore up, might not be worth it to paint, just buy a neew right piece. But I got a few months to think about it. If your ever in need of a paint job, I'm in Pittsburgh,pa I can give you the guys #. mofat01 10-05-2005, 04:59 AM I use Powers cages I Bought a few things from 905 racing for the 600 above and it was a real hassle dealing with them and trying to get ahold of him. Seems he rather go to the races than run his business. Ppl on the west coast love him, but the majority of ppl I talk to also have had bad experiences with 905. I've had F.I. on a 900rr and it seemed to bend and crack motor mounts more than anything. I had the old powers cage design on that 600 above and on a couple 636's and I liked it. I now got the new design on the 1000 above and it's definately improved. I live in Pa and Powers in is Pa so I can get the cages in less than a week usually. They've treated me good, so even tho the powers costs more I still go with them.
