First off is this your first bike? If so then how much would you sell the bike for when you crash it?

Go NOS its only on when you want it. Its easier to tune and cheaper. Get the wet system so you can easily adjust the jets. If you blow anything most likely itll be the rings.

well if you want to go fast you are going to have to drop it and extend it. $2100 is not nearly enough to do a turbo kit. If you are really lucky you could get a crappy used set up for a little more then that with no money left over for anything else. Those crappy kits can not be tuned or set up very well and you will have nothing but problems and blown motors.
Nitrous is definatly the way to go for cheap bang for the buck.
Get a extended arm, dropped, lowered, wet kit, full exhaust, put a 2 1/2 lb bottle inside of arm and run a 60hp shot.
I am not a busa pro though. I mainly race and work on gsxr 10000's. Post up in suzukihayabusa.org under drag racing section to get the best answeres. The board is temporarily down right now for a server change.

well since you are on a fairly small budget i would recommend you doing an extended arm, gear change, pipe/power commander, strap, etc...with this setup and lots of practice lauching the bike, you should be able to get into the 8's...we offer everything you would need to help make this happen for you...give us a call and i will tyake good care of you...GDC members get discounted prices at our shop...803.285.8093

Maybe if your a pro.. its going to take more than that to get a typical rider in the 8's... nitrous or Bigger CC required
