: Anybody here bet on NFL?? (My underdog picks of the day)

I took the Raiders over the Eagles, the Falcons over the Bills, the Saints over the Vikings and the Packers of the Bucs.

For the early games I picked more underdogs than favorites. I guess this early in the season I just think there are good teams that have yet to find a groove and feel as though this could be the week for a couple the are underrated.

i can say this now because they are killing them, but I would have went with vikings over saints. Saints were pissed about the "home field situation" last week and mad at the NFL. That distracts them, also vikings at home, vs a not to good team and after losing 2 straight.

A good buddy is from MN and so I've been a pretty avid watcher of the Vi-Queen games unless the Broncos were playing. I can say with a sad tone in my voice that they are looking like a high school team this year... and not like a Texas or Nebraska high school team either. Sure they are up now but prior to the game I really think that both teams had just a good a chance to win with the Saints paying better on a victory.

As for the being upset about home field shit... The Saints have proven already that they are a team that responds VERY well to adversity and even perhaps feed on it. If anything this helped me decide to pick them for the Dubya today. Still plenty of time left so we'll see.

Man... looks like I'm gonna loose the Packers/Bucs game by a single point. That shitty call by the officials to allow the Bucs to kick that field goal has come back to haunt the Pack and it looks like they'll drop another one. I can't blame it on the officials (even though GB got more shitty, game changing calls than TB) because they had plenty of opportunities to put the game in their own hands.

Feed on it? respond very well? How so? Because they beat a struggling carolina team... who barely won today btw. And are 1-2 ? They lost to a good Giants team and got handled against one the worst teams in the league today (vikings, 49ers, arizona). I don't know how that shows they feed off of adversity. If you watch the press conferences post Saints - Giants, They were pissed about the home field deal the NFl gave them and that was pretty much what every player talked about. Didnt think they focused enough and the vikings were due for something.

Same here man. Lost two of my others by four points total between the two games. Dayum Oakland and GreenBay just didn't have quite enough in the end.

I just won $38 on a $10 bet when LT scored the first TD in the Charger/Giant game. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Today it did?

$200 on the Pats today would have paid $300 for me (had they won anyway).

One team lost by one point and another by three. Keep in mind these were just my underdog picks. Any one of them that won at least tripled my money so if you do the math... I'm just fine. Not to mention how I did on the rest of my bets. I won over $100 on the Chargers game last night alone.

So, thanks for the vote of confidence puto. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/flipa.gif
