Yo,

im considering buyin either an 05 or 06 gsxr 1k. I was just wondering if you guys could tell me if there are any problems clutching up wheelies with the slipper clutch?

To answere his question. No you will have no problems clutching it. They clutch up real nice.

Its the down shifting where slipper clutches engage different.

Wow... yet another keyboard stunter. Please dont give an opinion on something you know nothing about.

Let me break it down for you....

Power wheelies = chasing to BP
Clutch wheelies = Instant BP

Ya don`t need to clutch a K5 to get to instant BP.
You do,however need to be doing about 7000 in 2nd to get it straight up there and you can do that just by rolling on, no need to chop it.
As stated earlier, if ya want to be going a bit slower, just flick the clutch.
But if your considering buying a K5 for its wheelie prowess ya might just want to look else where. Its got ample balls to wheelie, I can assure you of that but its on the track where it shines
