A friend just bought a brand new beautiful silver Hayabusa. 3 days old.
He had an Intruder before that, and he looks like a happy man with his new busa images/icons/grin.gif
Well today, he was backing it up to park it, no more than 5 feet from where I was standing and I notice it began to lean over...then lean ... then lean.... by the time I got to grab the rear passenger handle, the bike had slowly rested on his foot .... no damage ... I pull up hard and everything is fine ... well sort of ...
Just as I said "you got it?..." he answered "ya ... thanks man ... " and I let go... I notice him lose his footing again and CRRRUNCH!! this time I heard a bit of metal ... turns out that he had twisted his ankle when the bike landed on him the first time and as he rested on it again, the pressure hurt too much and down he went again ..... OUCH!!!
He would have gotten away clean.... but because of the second drop, he got some good scratches on those pretty fairings .... the mirror, brake lever, bar end and exhaust ... all coming from the second drop ....
I felt real bad for him images/icons/frown.gif ... ankle is ok ... pride HURT BIG!! ....
Now the bike is definitely his images/icons/grin.gif
