Just thought I would drop by and see how the big boys are doing

Never had the chance to ride a busa yet, hopefully some time soon, till then Im stuck with the 1000, but I have to say I want one. Why??? I just like saying the name:

HAYABUSA !!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont know what it means but its sure sounds cool.

It just flows better than gsxr1000

Oh well, maybe some day Ill have both, have to do that before I get hitched….

Oh man just read this what a totally useless post

graemlins/laugh.gif Your post cracked me up. I gotta 600, but its my first superbike. I love hearing Busa stories and the power stats that it puts out. I want one too one day, but I'd take a 1000 first, cause I prefer the look. BUT, the Hayabusa is a monster, and it undoubtedly is the most intimidating GSX-R. One of my friends has been dreaming of gettin a Busa too. He has a 600 too. graemlins/laugh.gif

I can relate to how you two are thinking. I had a gixxer 750 & moved up to the BUSA. I enjoy tight twistes, banks, & sweeps. I was worried that if I got the BUSA. I could not enjoy that type of riding anymore. I'm happy to say that I proved myself wrong. Yes the power is amazing, & it is all that people say it is. What made me buy the Busa was my size. Also the fact that I high sided my 750 on a track day, out of a corner (@130 MPH) at Snedderton. Standing 6'6" tall & weighing 265lbs. I had to get something that looked like a bike under me & not a moped. Some will tell you that the BUSA is too damm big. I'll tell you, when they made the BUSA. They had the all Big Fellas in mind. I will NEVER own a HOG!!! images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/cool.gif

OK things are getting alittle bit strange

I had this weird dream…

I'm walking out of the video store after renting poison ivy (not so classic, classic)

And low and behold there this beautiful woman (who looks a lot like Jaime Pressly go figure) admiring my bike (hayabusa)

So I coolly walk over, and she says "nice bike"

"Thanks" I say

"It's so… Big… what's its name?"

"Busa baby… Hayabusa"

LOL

NO MORE Corona + gin/tonic + rum/coke + pizza

i had a gsxr600 for my first bike. bought it when i was 18. rode it for a year and a half, sold it to my brother and bought a busa. best decision i have ever made. does'nt carve like the 600 but it can hold its own. my 10,000 dollar viper killer. by the way a hayabusa is the japanese name for a falcon that can dive after its prey at a "clocked" 200+ mph. i saw a show on fast animals and they showed it. the went up like 10,000 feet in a hot air balloon and dropped some food or something from the balloon and waited 10 seconds and let the falcon go. straight dive they got it at 200+ plus. coolest thing i ever saw. i was like makes sense why they would name the bike that. the bike is fastest in a straight line.
