I bought this bike back a couple of weeks ago and the fuel petcock was apart due to it leaking (according to previous owner). Suzuki does not offer a rebuild kit, you have to order the whole thing for $77. I found a company out of Canada that does rebuilt kits and ordered one for $23. I recieved the kit and it did not have instructions of how to put back together...have emailed them for help. I have looked at Suzuki schematics and they only offer the whole thing and not parts...no help. I have tried to put it back together the way I think it should go...but gas keeps coming out the fuel nozzle. I have made sure that the petcock is not on Prime or reserve and is not leaking around the tank. I have a 1980 GS1100E that runs on vacuum and it does not pour out when unhooked from fuel line. I assume that this should not be pouring out either?? Also on the white plastic square piece there is a pin hole and it comes out there too.
Does anyone have a drawing, pictures, schematic, or otherwise that they could share with myself to get me going??? Here it is a 3 day weekend for myself and this is the only thing holding me up from ridding!!
