Ive been told that my 05 Gixxer 1k has a tip over sensor built in. I need some proof in the maunal or something that I can show them at the track so im not limited to 100 mph. Last time they let me through but for this time they said I need proof or they wont let me by. Ive searched the owners manual with no success. I need something to show them so they let me go over 100 mph. Can anyone help me out here?? thx!!

most of new bikes with FI have them. alot of fast dragracers fill them with silicon to prevent shock on hard launches to keep from disrupting the ignition. nver had any problems with mine in bikes, but we did fill one on turbo busa jsut to be safe.
I have never thought that tech would let u by pass the kill switch with it tho. i wish you the best of luck

MOst of the tracks that do know about the Tip Over sensor usually dont let it fly anyhow because if the rider is to fall off the bike and it for whatever reasons stays up it will just keep going.Oh and I have seen it happen in one of the Las Vegas Extreme videos.

Start it up and carefully lay the bike on it's side ... it'll shut off. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
