So I go to the Chevron to get a Red Bull for the end of lunch. There is a normal non marked parking spot in the middle of two Handicapped spots. I park here all the time and never think twice of it because it is a normal spot. So I come back out of the store and some fat lady in her mini van is parked right up next to my bike. (even though I am in the middle of the spot) She is bumping my bike with her door with this disgusted look on her face. So I walk up and ask her politely what she is doing while I prepare to depart. She didnt do any damage, was just bumping it. So she tells me that I need to move my damn bike. I asked why and she says it was for handicapped people. I once again look around for a sign or the markings on the floor, which there arent any and tell her it isnt and I will be on my way shortly. So she tells me again to move my damn bike stupid ass. So at this point in time I verbally lash her with evey bad curse word that has ever been written and tell her to shut her fucking door so I can move my bike. She got on the phone and called the cops and said she had my plate. Like the cops are going to come tell me not to curse at fat old ladies. So as I left I knocked on her window and flipped her off while she was on the phone with them. Man I hate stupid people. I mean WTF did she think I was going to do when she called me a stupid ass?

Fuck it. I would have done the same thing. You acted right. She acted wrong. I would have waited for the cops, just so they could shut her ass up.

Ummm,the spot in between the HC spots is considered part of the HC parking. It is for loading and unloading of the HC people. Some of them have lifts for the wheelchair that come out of the side and the extra space is needed. The police can ticket you for parking in a HC space for parking there. Most HC signs will have a smaller (6" x 12") sign below with arrows pointing towards the space between designating that it is part of the HC space.

Around here, the loading/unloading zone around handicapped spots is marked off with diagonal blue lines. So if it dosen't have a blue bumper and/or signs and there's no blue paint, you're OK.

Acutally it is a normal space. The spots at the gas station are the ones that are big enough for the loading an unloading of the chairs in the spot. The spot is not marked, it has no signs no markings and I have parked there many times. I have parked there and talked with a cop about how cool he thought my bike was. I would like to see them try and ticket me with absolutely no markings at all. If they want to make it the handi capped spot they need to mark it. That lady can kiss my ass. Nobody can expect to be a dick to me and not have me say anything back.

If the spot isnt striped with lines and there is no sign indicating that it is HC parking then you cant be ticketed for it whether or not it is in between two HC spots. It's wierd that they wouldnt just put them right next to eachother and leave an unmarked space in the middle but anyways, it's BS that you can get a HC permit just because you are over a certain weight or under a certain height. you shoulda told her fat ass to go to the gym and she wouldnt need to have special parking. I hate fat lazy people. Anyways, you were not in the wrong and if it had been MY bike she was bumping with her door I wouldn't have been so polite at first.

Yeah I made sure to point out that she was just a fat ass because she kept eating at McDonalds. You could tell that is why she was there, it is a Mickey D's/Chevron place. I think that is when she decided to call the cops lol. It is a joke here in NM, you can get a handicapped permit for anything.
