anyone have access to Sprortrider's article of a few years ago where they tested (I believe) an "01 1000 with cams, EMS, head-gasket.....They were hoping to see near 200 and only got 189 due to rear wheel spin (from data aquisition)?

good job SPL-- That is the same bike, but I believe that it must have been a future article. They got that bike out on a back road in the Mojave Desert, Kento road it, even had a tankslapper. Would have been somewhat of a rough road surface--to back up the slippage contentions around here.
