A guy I ride with has one, and it doesn't sound to bad at first. Then a few minutes beside, or behind him, and it is anoying as hell. I tell him all the time, and he is getting tired of it. i have a friend who has a 1000cbr he just got a jardine exaust and the stock exaust looked nice.

now it looks like a civic big fart cannon on the back,,oddly enough the kid has a civic too with a matching exaust.
my point is big exaust under tail looks cheesey to me.

Ixil isn't really an undertail exhaust. It's more like sticking 2 hi-mount pipes onto your bike at the same time. Adds weight (1 extra can and additional unecessary piping), and it only comes it steel. Decreases exhaust flow by making it travel up higher and longer through all the bends in the mid-pipes.

A guy i ride w/ has it on his 600. It is definitely loud, thats for sure. Something to look out for is how the pipe is run. He burnt most of his sneaker rubber off on the pipe before he figured out he needed to change his foot position to avoid that.The pipe just sticks out more by the rear set b/c of how it has to be run. All in all I dont think it's too bad. Different from standard stuff so thats cool.

Yes, it is definatley(sp) differant. The guy that has one here, burns his shoe when doing standups, and his girl hates to ride for a period of time, then stop. The can is right under the seat, and it makes everything around it hot. She all the time keeps asking to ride, because it cools off when ridding. It all depends on what YOU want. my buddy has that on his 05 r1 it sounds like pure shit and is very annoying , and the hole for the pipe looks like an asshole and turns brown around it so it kinda looks like your exhuast took a shit on your underatil.

the way the hotbodies mounts is shitty, you have to attach these mounts that extend only your right side rearset which is lame. it sounds like shit, doesnt give any real HP gain and the installion is a nightmare...plus its a bit costly. I have installed one of these and I wasnt happy with it at all.
