i had an adjustable cam chain tensior(sp) installed a little while ago and I want to check it and adjust if i need to. how do i go about doing this?

the technical way is to remove your valve cover on the top of your motor and measure the slack in your cam chain.. although most people just go by sound.. if your motor isnt rattling then its probably ok. if it makes a metallic rattling sound try turning in the adjuster very slowly while the engine is running until it stops rattling, then just back it out a 1/4 of a turn and tighten down the lock nut.

It only needs to be done about every 10k miles
