I am speaking in deference to production based ones. Inline-4's have always been there of course, then we saw the mid to late 90's dominance of the V-twins. So I'm wondering what do you think the next stepping stone will be.
I'm thinking V-4's like many of the MotoGP bikes lately.

Big Bang firing order on I-4s.
That SHOULD be the next step w/ production bikes to make them easier & funner to ride.
A V-4 would be killer but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Roll cages, a 3 point harness and airbags.
Down in victoria here in oz they are trialing front number plates, or so the rumour goes. Apparently the cops can't get the speed cameras to be of any use when taking a pic of a bike....
