extended swing arm, polished frame, and polished wheels, akrapovic slip on, and PC III, etc...Looks good to me. Should I jump all over it or what?

BTW, sorry for the n00b question but what does an extended swing arm...whats it help with?

Why in the hell would you extend the swingarm of a 600?

Not quite a Turbo Busa that has trouble keeping the front end down. I would jump away from it, unless that look is what you desire, but in my mind one of the draws of having a 600 is that it is light and handles well, even though it's outpowered by larger displacement bikes. With that you have something that handles like crap and still doesn't have the power and torque to keep up. Lose/lose situation in my mind. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/plthumbsdown.gif

I wouldn't get it...or if you do get it I'd change the swing arm back to normal. Your handling abilities gonna suffer a lot and also I just don't like how it looks.

Go do some research, leanr a little more about bikes and you won't need anyones opinion when you're looking for a purchase. I know you're just looking for advice but being informed yourself will help you a lot more than we can.

BUT my advice would be to try to purchase a bike that is mostly stock just so you know whoever had it was not messing with it as much. No telling what Mr. Chrome extended swingarm was doing to his bike.

Yea, I've been looking for bikes for the last month or so. I'm looking into getting a new one as well. I'm not getting a bike till winter when everything is cheaper. If I don't find anthing this winter then I'll go to my local bike shops and see what they have as far as brand new 05 models go.

if that's your first bike, some would say it's wise to get a used one as you will likely drop it, and it's gonna hurt much more on a brand new bike than a used one thats already got a couple scratches on it
