I know these are two basic questions, but my local dealers are out of stock so I cannot seem them for myself and they are clueless!

I plan on getting a 2005 GSX-R600 as soon as the local dealers restock. Just for the heck of it I wanted to know what the LED backlight color is on the speedometer and tach. Three local dealers gave me three different colors. I just wanted to know what to expect when I finally get to see one turned on. I was told they have no backlight color?

As for the paint schemes on the 2005 Gixxer 600 I thought the yellow was yellow with a blue stripe, but I'm being told they are yellow with a black stripe or yellow with a silver stripe. Suzuki.com shows yellow/blue. It is hard for me to buy a bike for $8,000 when I don't even know what colors they come in.

I've only found pictures of the speedo when the bike isn't on.

Also, any leaks on what the 06 Gixxer 600 color schemes will be? I researched and couldn't find anything and like I said above my local dealers are clueless or are just being secretive in hopes I buy out their remaining 05 stock or something like that.

Well, like the 100000000000000000s of threads on the topic suggest. There is not yet any news on the K6 models. And of course the dealer doesn't know shit. Get your info from other places, don't EVER rely on a dealer for any accurate info.

DEALER'S ARE NOT RESTOCKING '05's. They are all done with. They are waiting for the '06's. Where are you located cause if you're close to NV there is still a good price on one where I got mine from.

I live in Cape Coral, FL. Three dealers within 60 minutes of me said they get the 05's in still, but they sell them as soon as they receive them. They do have the 05 20th Anniversary Models in, probably cuz no one bought them, haha. They look cool I guess. One of the dumbasses said he cannot get anymore in right now and to let him know if I am inerested in getting one? What the hell does that mean? If he cannot get them then...... Duh!

Three weeks back the Kawasaki dealer said they would not get the 2006 ZZR600 until Christmas this year. A couple days later they received one. Lying bastards!

Looks like I will end up with the 2006 model http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I'm still working on my down payment, so I guess the longer it takes the more I can put down.

Is it a good looking orange on the speedo? I keep trying to flag down Gixxer 600 riders when I see them, but I am always on the wrong side of the parking lot and I don't want to be a prick, ya know?

imo, it's just ok. I think they could've picked a nicer color (maybe dot reasons? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif, but it's not ugly either. If there are no pics posted by another member of the speedo lit up at night, i'll take a pic for ya when i'm not working.
