although this probably doesnt deserve its own post, I DID IT! i shifted into second during a wheelie! i was out practicing on an empty stretch of road and i did it successfully twice. im so pumped i cant wait to go out and try it agian tomorrow. i was having a bunch of problems with it but i just sucked it up and brought it up a little higher and it worked. the first time i rode it for a while. second one got too high so i had to bring it down with the rear brake. nothing out of control tho. thanks everyone who helped me out. i appreciate it.

Did you shift without the clutch?

for me doing sit downs i clutch.stand ups i dont..if needed

yeah it was clutchless. as soon as i get the feel of it and can get it everytime ill start using the clutch. how bad is it to not use the clutch on these shifts?

It's not bad, you're supposed to not use the clutch.

im gonna try stand up tonight. im also gonna try to do it one handed but i dont think that will work out. whats the difference between stand up? is it the same method? anyone know?

Ok Im with this guy.

I mean congrats on your success and all. But why try and do it one handed? That's just (sorry) but stupid. Why don't you just practice your wheelies in general before trying any stupid tricks. Not trying to be a prick man.....but your letting your ego get to you.
