Ok heres a stupid question I am sure that is asked a million times.I have an 05 GSXR 600 (Ya first bike) and I put a HotBodies undertail on it. After hooking the lights up, the turnsignals flash like a Vegas casino!

Here's the obvious question:
Is there any way to make the turn signals flash a bit slower?

I figured this was due to an imbalance or improper resistance on the T/S flasher circuit so I checked that out....The resistance on the standard bulb and socket is around 1.3 Ohm. I checked the left side of the new undertail T/S and it was around 16.5 MOhm.

I have a tech question written to the company and am waiting a response from them. If and when I hear from Hotbodies, I will post the findings. I was hoping someone here already figured it out.

Thanks for reading and helping!

Go to Radio Shack and buy a resistor, put it in line and you're done.

Go to fendereliminator.com they sell the resistors to slow the flashing down like they are the stock ones.

Follow this link to a bulletin board posting that discusses this. Someone even created a make-shift wiring diagram for you to follow.
