I have a 95 gsxr 750 with aftermarket exaust and re-jetted carbs,my friend has a 05 r6 if we were to race who do you think would win?

r6, sorry to say ,technology has come along way, some of the older 1000 wont even touch the r6

I am with the Lurker. There is another post out here about a 636 vs a 01-02 750 and I feel that the same things apply. I there are equal riders on both bikes, the weight diff will def be the deciding factor. Think about the hp numbers the bikes are putting out. I bet the R6 has the same or more power than the 95 750.

I raced a ZX-12R with my `89 1100 and smoked him four outta four shots. ...he is no newbie to riding, has been riding longer than I have in fact... BUT this was his first time at a dragstrip. All things being equal, he shoulda beat me - but 60' is everything on a streetbike, and it takes a HUGE HP advantage to run someone down at the big end if they slay you on the 60'.
