i neglected to mention wind noise...

unlike my HJC which made a hissing wind noise, the noise you get from the AXO is more of a booming sound not so much the hiss, if you know what i mean....

i did expect it to be a little more quiet but with the helmet the way it is it doesnt bother me at all... images/icons/grin.gif

i finally got to put it on my head and my thoughts are...

its freaking light!!!!

it has a removeable chin guard thing which i see serves no purpose other than being a boogie collecter....so ive removed it...also because it often came loose when putting the helmet on and off.

it has excellent air flow, so you arent going to feel stuffy inside with the visor down...

visor manouvreablity is excellent also with quick release mech.

the air vents on top of the helmet actually work!

the other thing i didnt like but have since become used too, is the strap...it seems to touch across my adams apple area which made me feel uncomfy at first but am ok with it now...

did i mention light????...100/100 poser points

removable liner for cleaning!

the fit on my head was only bettered by a shoei....(i couldnt warrant the extra $300)

perfect field of vision...unhindered....

Sloduc....i just found on the inside of the HJC a tag that said L and 60cm (up until now i didnt know what size it was images/icons/tongue.gif ) and i bought the AXO in a Medium....

the HJC was nice and snug...and the AXO is currently VERY snug...im hoping it will loosen up a bit with time...but even if it doesnt it will be ok...

i didnt see where it said $490 was in USD...i actually think that its in AUD...because the difference between aus price and international price seems to be the amount that we pay in tax....ie thats the price that one would pay for it without tax.....

shoot em an email...im hoping its in AUD for your sake images/icons/wink.gif

Guys the 490 is in aud, i paid close to 370 including a tinted visor and an iridium visor and shipped to my door!! once again Thanks nolz and i will post pics and comments for the us guys.

Okay cool Gixxerfever. I may get one this summer but I've got some other stuff I wanna get before a new helmet. I just clicked on international price at that northside Kawasaki place nolz mentioned and it said $490. I just assumed they meant USD but you now what they say about assuming. Let us know what you think when you get it.
