Anybody think this is a good deal or a ripoff?

Looks like a good deal to me... if you look at all the stuff on ebay, they seem to have a reasonable returns/refunds policy, and I searched around a bit and also came up with this URL:

http://www.intellectease.com/hayabusa/images/accessories/leathers/leatherparadise/index.htm

If I had $400 layin' around, I'd buy a set.

those are the same leathers on both sites yet ebay has em almost $100 cheaper..

and in $US dollars it all adds up..

but whats with all the perforation on the leathers? too much of a good thing maybe..

I picked up a set, fit perfect (as requested) stiching did come undone around the bottom strip of the jacket ($10 fix) otherwise a damn good buy! I notice they do sell alot off of e-bay, I had a bid on one when someout bid me, I just placed a bid on a different color and requested the blue and picked picked it up at base cost, I have been happy ever since.

I thought we just did a post re: these leathers..??

They seem to be low quality... images/icons/rolleyes.gif Also..the thickness of the leather seems to be on the thin side...instead of tellin ya all the little things that could be better about them..I'd just say....PASS..for a few $$$ more ya can get a BRAND NAME set..and when yur skin's at risk...why skimp.. images/icons/rolleyes.gif images/icons/grin.gif

those are cheap ass low budget leathers... if you're gonna get leathers, fuck it go all out and spend at least $1000... that $1000 is worth your life and the more expensive suits protect better and look MUCH better... i recommend alpinestars or dainese... www.alpinestars.com (http://www.alpinestars.com)

I agree with Hammer, you don't have to spend $1100 or some ungodly amount on leathers to be well protected. You can pick up some great suits in the $450-550 range. Personally, I'd rather go with someone that is well know for custom leathers(this = $$$) or a "name" brand. Check out AGV, Joe Rocket, Teknic and Kobe.
