yeah...from all the bad experienced that I've heard....you can call them up and check the availability of the stuff you want..they'll they have it in stock ready for shippment...and you'll proceed with the order...and then guess what?? your credit card gets charged...and three weeks later...you call them up...they'll tell ya the jacket or the boots you ordered a zillion years ago is on backorder....

I prefer not to order from them..since they are not trying to be up front with the shipping charges and their so called "insurnace fee"...

I've ordered from them before and didn't have problems, but not on anything big ticket.

I need me a new suit, though...those 2000 speedmasters are lookin like a good deal...

I've never, ever, had a problem with MAW. Maybe it's because I made sure to ask all the proper questions in advance and didn't assume that the order takers actually knew anything at all about motorcycles or motorcycle gear. On top of that, I always get them to come down on price and if I get a product I don't like they always pay the return shipping. So there! images/icons/tongue.gif

Edit note: I've bought literally thousands of dollars worth of stuff from them, too!

Kevin, I have spent close to three thousand dollars with them before they started treating me bad......but once they did, it didn't stop! Please tell me if I have forgot any questions to ask, because this is what I ask everytime I ordered from there....1)Do you have the item in stock? (for every item) 2)When is the order going to be shipped? 3)are any of these items on back order?
What else is there to ask? Even when they said yes, what can I do about it when the shit don't come for 10 months (exaggeration)? If they would have told me things were on back order, and when the items would have shipped, that's different. These people just flat out lied to me, many times! I'm glad they haven't treated you wrong!! I can order from almost anywhere, and tell them their price, and the other people will beat MAW's price.....

I had spent nearly $1500 in accessories with them before they jerked me around. I asked the same questions that Thomas asked plus some questions about the parts. Like my brothers helmet, I made sure to ask if it was SNELL approved. The guy on the phone said he was unsure, so I made him call and ask. He came back and PROMISED it was, so I bought it. This was a Bday present for my little brother who was turning 17 and wanted to learn how to ride. I ordered it the middle of December and didn't recieve it til the end of March, his birthday is Jan 31. When I did get it, the damn thing wasn't Snell approved. I was furious and wanted to send it back, but my brother loves the helmet and won't let me return it. When I called to complain I wanted to talk to the supervisor, she wasn't there, so I asked to talk to their superior and guess what they weren't there either. So I sent an email that was returned (go figure). Edit: This was after they screwed me on my helmet, and other little accessories. So I gave them a second and even third chance and now I regret that I did.

Man! This is the 3rd post I've seen that bashed MAW. Waiting 2-3 mos isn't a good situation, waiting that long during the riding season is totally unacceptable. I guess I'll stay away also.

I waited 6 weeks on a set of tires they told me they had in stock. After 2 weeks I called back and they said, they meant it was in stock at their distributors. I also asked to speak to their supervisors who weren't there and never did return my call or my email. I gave them a couple other chances but was equally displeased with them. Now I say graemlins/piss.gif on them

this just became another MAW bash thread,, how the hell are those guys still in business??
