Went shopping for gear this weekend, found leathers, two piece suit, one piece pulled on my nuts too much. But NO f'ing boots would close on my calf (velcro part). I tried on the sidi and alpinestars, different models on each. I know body building and racing don't go hand and hand but what do normal people do for gear if your not bone skinny like the typical racer? You might want to check out AGV boots...I have a pair and they have speed laces also calf area is pretty big. Check out kneedraggers.com...pretty good prices...hard to beat.

Did you try the Sidi Vertebra 2's? Adjustable calves. Make sure you loosen 'em up all the way and try them on. I just got a pair. I got huge calves too and I just opened them all the way and it fits fine. www.motonation.com (http://www.motonation.com) has some of the specs...
