what is best to use to touch up a crank case cover (some sliver scratches showing)? somehow black permanent maker doesn't seem right lol

Use touch up paint

I touched mine up with some high heat paint until I could get around to taking it off and fixing it right. It took 2 minutes and it makes it look way better until the season is over or its raining for a week straight. In my opinion I like to ride it every mile I can instead of fixing it when I want to be out on it.

And to be honest who is looking so close at your casecovers to see if there are some grooves in it unless they are buying it?
My bike is no show queen I like to ride the bitch.
