Anyone else notice that your $900 carrillo rods large end bores measure about .0015 less than the spec in the manual calls for? This means that I can't get bearings thin enough to give the proper oil clearence. That's extreme allright.....EXTREME bullshit!!! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/piss.gif

We have never seen that. I have sold hundreds of sets of Carrilos and have never had a single one ever out of spec in any demension.
Post what model bike you have rods for. Im will tell you what the carrillo size and oem size is.

Thank everyone for getting my crank back! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/banana.gif
I just got it back, sized one of the carrillos on it with a green bearing (thinnest) and got less than .001". Trust me on this man! I had the sme problem with a set for my FZR, Don Barrington resized the big end on those and the engine was pulled apart recently after being together for two years, and the rod bearings looked beautiful. Just a little light polished look on the bearings. I just used to throw a motor together trusting the manufacturers knew what they were doing. I would pull the motor down after 6 months and the bearings would look nasty from too little clearence. So as you can see, I do have a practical experience with this problem.
HEY! Are you TJ? I remember talking to you on the phone!
