I don't seem to understand how to remove the forks prings on the TLR. I have done it multiple times on GSXR's, but the internal top structure is different on the TL, i don't see the locking nuts.

Unscrew the fork cap, then you need a spring compressor to get the collar down out of the way. Once you've done that, you can get at the nut and spin the cap off the damper rod
