: Under Leathers
tatervine7 02-01-2002, 03:59 PM What is the best clothing to wear underneath my Teknic leathers. They are still new and are loosening up a bit...Ive looked at the underleathers but I was curious to see what everyone else is wearing. The upper portion is fine,its my legs especially around the knee areas. They are definitley sticky but alittle rough. Anything that can help smoothen them out a bit.

I do the same thing. You can also buy those "cool shirts" from www.marmo.com (http://www.marmo.com)
GSX-R_Master 02-06-2002, 03:34 PM spandex?!? images/icons/shocked.gif that's some gay shit... another thing you can wear underneath your leathers is a holster... graemlins/flamethrower.gif comes in handy sometimes if you know wtf i mean graemlins/angryfire.gif graemlins/idea.gif graemlins/flamethrower.gif
torquemaniac 02-06-2002, 04:35 PM I got the underleathers from http://www.underleathers.com. They were having a great "buy one, get one free" deal through January. I got 'em and they are great! They're made of a real thin material made of Lycra and Cotton. It makes getting the leathers on and off much easier. It did help keep me warm in the cold, just have to wait 'til it gets warm to see if they'll help cool me off in the heat. So far, they've lived up to their billing.
gsxr750 02-06-2002, 05:54 PM Depends on the weather, usually just boxers and a t-shirt.
tatervine7 02-06-2002, 06:48 PM Thanks for the info...TorqueManiac.......
Just trying to make my decision wisely......I need something that I can move my legs around a little more......Hopefully the suit has more loosening up to do......

Toque: What were you wearing over the underleathers? was it a perf'd suit? How cold was it when you went out in them?
torquemaniac 02-07-2002, 10:08 AM I was wearing my perforated Fieldsheer two piece suit. It wasn't very cold, I'd guess in the 50's.

70 bucks for a T-shirt? Ouch! Did you get the top or the intermediate?
Spooner 02-07-2002, 10:36 PM I wear cycling shorts and a spandexy t-shirt. I learned back in my mx days the bike shorts really help alot on comfort, plus keeps the "little guys" in their spot images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif .

They were 100 pounds, not 70 bucks. I got both the performance suit and the intermediate suit for the price of one. That offer is still good, btw.

According to their website :
Top : 50gbp = $70
intermediate = 50gbp = $70
Performance = 90gbp = $120
Those are discounted prices good for this month.
WFO_N_FL 04-26-2003, 02:02 PM Here you go guys............... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
go to;
http://www.sierratradingpost.com/xq/asp/search_type.coolmax/size1./size2./gender.0/ShowImages.yes/sq.0/cont.1/special_type./sqlSearchStr.formsOf%28inflectional%2Ccoolmax%29/qx/search/keyword_results.htm or if the take that link out (I think they might) just go to sierratradingpost.com. and do a search on coolmax. They have super low prices that even I can afford and this stuff really works. If nothing else, do yourself a big favor and get a pair of socks for under your boots and a tee shirt. $4.95 for the socks & $9.95 for a tee shirt. You won't believe the difference and then you'll get more stuff. If you wear leathers, and you all should, at least get a freggin tee shirt. And I'm not trying to promote this site. I don't care where the heck you get a coolmax tee shirt from. I'm just saying........if you can find one anywhere for $ 9.95 or less, and you sweat under your leathers, go buy a coolmax tee shirt. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
