gas light came on and wont go out? should i try disconnecting the battery? i have no other trouble other then wondering when im going to run out of gas. thanks

Stupid question, but have you put gas in it since it came on???? lmao

after refueling it, it will take a few seconds and the light should go out....If it don't, then you probably have a sensor out. Take it by a dealer and have them check it out...

heh, my gas light goes off after the intial "start up sequences" i dont kno wut else to call it but u know when the tach red lines and comes back down along with the gas and neutral lightsgoing on and then off, well my gas light comes on and goes off but never comes back on when i need gas its been like that for about 3-4 mos. i just havent checked into it yet. take it to a shop or back to the dealer its prolly a fact defect, i kno 3 other guys with similar gas light problems like coming on when the tank is full and flashing on and off and wut not
