Need help...

I am trying to color match my tail fairing with the factory yellow for a k4 750.

Any ideas?

the yellow is difficult to match because it requires a base coat. i used colorite to paint my front fender blue to match the bike. its good stuff but you have to use their primer and clear.

so...primer, base, color, and clear....man...the price is getting up there...

yeah...color rite is expensive for what you get....

Ad it may take several coats to get the color right. I've seen it take half a dozen coats before (not on yellow).

it took 80% of the can to paint my front fender dark blue. total cost was about $70. but i had a crack in it so i had to glass it and paint it anyway or buy a new one for $120.
