Okay, so I just got a pair of Joe Rocket riding pants and I was hoping to attach them to my Intersport Suzuki riding jacket. The zippers don't match! I thought these were universal!
So I was thinking of using a dremel on the pant zipper so that it will fit on the jacket zipper. I think it will be pretty easy modification, but since the pant zipper is a little shorter than the jacket zipper, the pants will be offset by ~2". Should I worry about this or just give up, return the Joe Rocket pants and get an Intersport. Geez, I can't believe the zipper lengths/sizes aren't universal. That sucks big time.

I had the same prob, I had Fieldsheer pants, seems JR sews their zips in backwards, to fit only JR pants... images/icons/mad.gif
Take em to a place that does alterations on leather garments, and have them redo one of the zippers, I'd do the jacket, that way almost all the brands of pants should work.. images/icons/grin.gif

Does anyone know what pants will work with the Suzuki Racing Intersports Fashions jacket???

There really is no universal..some brands of pants fit some brands of jackets..I'd redo the jacket..to save some $$ but the pants would be better to redo...
Somewhere on Pauls site, he has a fitting chart that shows what jackets, and pants will most likely fit together..I don't excatly know where it is, so ya may have to search a bit for it..but try this..

If ya can't find it, call Paul, or Holly, I'm sure they'd be glad to help ya..

Carnage- always glad to "take one" for the group! images/icons/smile.gif
Hammer 4-thanks for the advice. After posting this topic I thought about that option. So,from your reply I gather that Joe Rocket pants are probably "more universal"? I guess that's good 'cause the zipper on the jacket is just sewn into the liner. I would think it would be an easy (read- "cheap") job for the tailor. The zipper on the pants are sewn into the waist and looks a lot harder to alter.

Some manufacturers (Vanson for sure) will sell you a stub with a zipper on it so you can go to a tailor and have it "adapted." I've got the same issue with a pair of Technic pants and a Vanson jacket. I've just been to lazy to take the stub to a seamstress or tailor.
