GSXR_ROB 05-14-2005, 08:11 AM There is no slip on for the 04-05's.
I have a RS-3 Yosh CF.. Love it.
Akrapovic is really good.
M4 is good and there is a ton of others that are good too.
Gixer600r 05-15-2005, 12:35 PM GSXR-ROB would you happen to have a sound clip of the YOSHI RS-3?
//pharcyde\\ 05-15-2005, 08:14 PM You mean for the Yosh cans, right? I'm sure I saw that Akropovic has a slip on with link pipe fittment available for the K4 - K5 600, on their site.
Just checking. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

B.R.A.T. 1 05-16-2005, 08:38 AM i got Akra from indysuperbikes.com.....love the sound on my 04. Friend has RS3 race can on his 05 600, Akra is slightly louder with a lower tone. Yoshi does sound a bit cleaner tho.

K600R 05-20-2005, 06:44 AM What is the point of a slip on vs a bolt on?
Gixer600r 05-20-2005, 12:14 PM i believe a bolt on is just the exhaust can, it bolts directly onto your stock mid pipe
a slip on is a can and the mid pipe this connects to your stock headers, and finally the full exhaust will include all of the above with the headers
osugsxr 05-20-2005, 02:37 PM have a micron high mount, wasnt that hard to install, had to cut the the pipe though, would have been easier with electric hacksaw but we were able to cut it with a handone, turned out great, the cobalt blue exhaust matches the bike well and it sounds great, low rumble sound , 380 from indysuperbikes
RC_Caliber 05-21-2005, 04:33 AM I bought the Yoshi Titanium bolt on, sounds and looks good.

K600R 05-24-2005, 09:41 AM i believe a bolt on is just the exhaust can, it bolts directly onto your stock mid pipe
a slip on is a can and the mid pipe this connects to your stock headers, and finally the full exhaust will include all of the above with the headers
What would be the advantage of a slip on vs bolt on? The stock midpipe looks fine to me. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Gixer600r 05-24-2005, 11:29 AM i agree, the stock midpipe looks sweet
joerocket82 05-28-2005, 07:27 AM I have a scorpion bolt-on on my '05. Looks and sounds real nice.
FL600 05-31-2005, 04:06 AM Does anyone have the Two Bros M2 Carbon bolt on? if so, how does that sound?
relrobber 06-25-2005, 04:35 PM a slip-on and a bolt-on are essentially the same thing. some manufacturers bolt their can to a one-piece mid/header pipe, and some manufacturers use a separate header pipe and mid-pipe. the bikes w/ separates use a slip-on and bikes with a one-piece will need a bolt-on.
mosha 08-20-2005, 03:50 PM I have an akrapovic and I love it, it looks really good and has a deep sound. I would definately recommend it.
Elite Detail OC 08-21-2005, 03:37 AM yosh makes a great system, cant go wring with the price and quality
