To keep from taking off with your disk lock still in place.
I would like to share a little trick that I have engineered out of a red-faced experience.
1. Snip off a two-inch piece of a brightly colored Cable-Tie.
2. Store it tucked into the weather shield of the disk lock.
3. When you deploy the lock…place the nylon strip into the ignition.
This simple reminder could save you hundreds of dollars.
