Got her down the track, ended up with a 10.7 @ 137... The track here hooks too much to launch her hard, kept pulling the front about the 60' line. Hate not being able to go WOT. Pulling 1.8 60s stock street setup, no lowering, but that will change soon. My best MPH of the night was a 139 but never got it below a 10.7... West texas air also sucks, DA was around 6200ft that night.
As a round about chance, does anyone know if you can drop the front forks on a 1k through the tripples? I dont really want to just strap my bike, shes about to be lowered 2-3" and stretched 4-6 with a full adj. swingarm...

If i only lower the front 1" and lower the rear 2 or 3, will that completely screw the geometry of the bike or will it still be semi-ridable?

I'd have to alter that pic on running the strap OVER the top of the frame. It'll work, but if you pull the strap and try to ride...it feels like you have 4 steering dampers set on stiff....as in you'll need to compensate the entire time you are going down the track which will easily work your body and brain over if not cause you to wreck. I routed mine on the LOWER triple clamp, in front of the frame. It'll easily fit there and keep you sane when it's tight. Just take the excess (while lightly taught) and wrap it around the left side cable routed over the frame. ALWAYS mount the clamp side to the left side of the forks.....you'll need your front brake for pulling purposes. Anyway....then when all the slack is out and wrapped....you can grab ahold of the strap and some front brake...pull it down so you have about 1" of travel (you'll need it for the track bumps and more importantly for releasing the tension later)...then you'll see you will only have minimal leftover and won't need to worry about excess getting into your wheel or having to wrap it everytime. I rode 5000+ miles this way with no probs. Oh and never leave it slammed or you'll rapidly blow fork seals. Also your 3" rear will match the 3+" of slam in the front with the strap. It's about 2" total front when you consider the fork angle to fork tube lowering.

if you have the stock height, it will seem that it hooks too much due to weight transfer. the gsxr was made for turns, and for bumps in the turns you need to have travel, well that is a bad thing on the 1/4 if you gonna stay at the stock height, something you can do is increase the preload for the strip, just remember to back it back off for the twisties, you would end up bouncing all over te place
