Just been wondering...how much does a bare bike motor weigh?
I'm sure it varies some from bike to bike, but roughly, say on a 600?

bare current generation motor, no fluids, in the neighborhood of 125-130 pounds or so....the older gsxr motors weighed a little more....

The 1100w weighs just exactly all I can lift outta the frame and onto the bench... another ounce, couldn't do it.
Does that help?

Acutally yes...
I was wondering how "liftable" they are.
Thanks both.

About 130 lbs for a 97 600 motor with no carbs, about 7 lbs more for the 750, I had to 'lift' mine carefully.
