: 750 bore 150 hp???
opiee 05-02-2005, 01:46 PM i just baught a 2002 gix 750
when i baught it the guy said he put a bore kit in it that came with thinner sleves and larger pistons. he said that it raised it to an 850cc, and its pulling 150 on a dyno. now there are no other mods all stock. would it run with out a pcIII?
is this bs? or is this realistic?
Only way to find out is to put it on a dyno and do a run. You could tear it down as well and see

it does not need a pc to run. it should already has a custom map. Put it on a dyno and find out.

well there is the start of your problems.. there is on such thing as a 850 kit for a 750.. the biggest you can get is a 812/813cc kit ... so i think you got had! btw.. an 813 built right is capable of 150ish hp with race gas... but its going to cost you a ton of money
gixxer601 05-04-2005, 07:51 AM ive seen big BLOCK kits that are claiming 900cc's from a 750

What about stroking it that should get it over 850
opiee 05-12-2005, 11:10 AM problem is nobody around here has a dyno or the money to buy one lol
WERA276 05-16-2005, 01:28 PM I thought the 750 could be bored over to a 83??? something or another. With that kit and a tuned head 150hp is well possible. Figure 125hp with all the usual 750 bolt on mods.........plust 50 more cc's and head work.....that will get ya 25hp.....race gas prob another 5 hp on that with VP or such.
gixxerguy77 05-21-2005, 12:57 AM ive seen big BLOCK kits that are claiming 900cc's from a 750
true but that kit is for the 99 and older models.. check it out on gsxrzone.com
gixxerguy77 05-21-2005, 01:00 AM nope.. ive done my research.. i have an 813 kit in mine.. thats all you can find.. call KWS motorsports for more information.. My 813 kit with pump gas is 140hp at the wheel.. i assure you this runs better than any 140hp gsxr 1000.. dont let the HP numbers blur the truth
WERA276 05-21-2005, 04:56 AM Yea i would take a 140hp lower cc bike anyday. Just as i would take a 110hp new 600cc bike over a older 110hp 750. Higher redline, easier to flip around, quicker reving,....on and on.
RyanSteeds 05-22-2005, 09:48 AM my 2003 gixxer 750 is 142 hp stock..with my exhaust/K&N filter its around 153 now.
WERA276 05-22-2005, 01:38 PM yea with a 40 shot of N20
RyanSteeds 05-22-2005, 06:14 PM nope?

You should be running with most 1000's. Right!?
RyanSteeds 05-23-2005, 02:18 PM it even says in any spec. about a 2003 gixxer 750..142 bhp.
and exhaust is like 8 hp? filters like ..2 hp??
banzai1 05-24-2005, 01:07 AM Like I said...you should be running with most 1000's if your numbers are actually correct. MM WAIT A MINUTE!!!!! you're a forun troll aren't you?!
RyanSteeds 05-24-2005, 09:15 AM whats a forun troll??

dude thats crank horsepower not wheel horsepower.. try about 120-125hp at the wheel!
opiee 05-29-2005, 02:58 PM thanks guys, i figured the guy was stupid before, now i know he is a damn retard.
blackk51000 05-30-2005, 05:48 AM id take my 05 thats lighter then your 750/813 any day of the week.
AssAbuser 06-06-2005, 08:14 AM I had an 03 750 with an 813 kit in it and it made a consistant 158-159 hp. on motor and 216 on a dry shot it had Yosh drop in cams a V&H head with 1mm over intake and exhaust valves it ran REALLY well...
AssAbuser 06-06-2005, 08:18 AM before you guys try to say B.S, the bike was stock length and went a 9.08 @ 156 at Rockingham dragway.. and yes it would just kill 1000's with a pipe and a filter... it even would pull a Busa with exhust...
Max Potential 06-17-2005, 09:36 AM bullshit
opiee 06-26-2005, 04:17 PM thank you all if i find a dyno i will send him a copy of the sheet with the max at 120 or what ever

ZukiRider 07-10-2005, 11:23 PM I've known a few road racers with 813 making 160rwhp on race fuel. It's not out of the question....hell, the 750 Superbikes were making ~175.

the key your missing, Money. they spend more money on a 750 to make 175hp than most of us make in a year... with money you can have just about anything you want.. the typical 813 is between 135-150hp
