What do I seal the foam connectors with on the air box? What is the best way to seal the air box in general? silicone, after market connectors, or something else? TIA!

double back foam tape about 1/2 wide and stick it to the foam on the box itself. your talking about where it meets the frame right(by the air ducts)?

YEAH, I TINK SO! I HAVEN'T LOOKED SINCE I PUT THE K&N IN, SEVERAL MONTHS AGO. I READ A POST AND WONDERED WHAT THEY WERE SEALING. SO I TAPE THE OUSTSIDE OF THE FOAM, TO GET A BETTER FIT TO THE FRAME?

i would remove the foam entirely, use some metal foil tape (even duct tape will do), and seal off the space between airbox snorkel and frame from the inside.

now that someone mentioned it i think i will seal my bird up tight . how much hp gain should you get when at high speed from sealing it properly. or how much do you lose from it not being sealed.

you probably wouldn't be able to feel the difference....but it can't hurt to seal it up....
