Just bought a 05' 600 and i know that any exhaust from 04 will fit the 05 but i was wondering if any other year will fit on it...im mostly concerned with just the slip/bolt on can....also i was wondering about a warranty void if an aftermarket slip/bolt on is installed because i see brand new bikes with aftermaket cans im wondering if it voids it or they just dont care?

04 and 05 are the exact same bike, so an exhaust for the 04 will fit the 05

I myself just bought a twenty 05 gixxer. I am new to street bikes and was wondering what exhaust would work best to go from headers back? I have been looking at Yoshi's but I didnt know if there is better out there or what. She is just to quiet.

Don't worry about the warranty, I was wounding the same thing. I talk to the dealership where i got my bike and they said i can get headers back and it won't void warranty (as long as it was installed correctly). As to what kind i'm still ripping my hair out. Yoshi is great and same with Akro. When you get to this level i don't think any is better then the other, it's just personal taste.

First of all, welcome to the site http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif. As for different types of exhausts you might want to check out: Micron, Devil, Akrapovic, Arrow. I heard that Arrow gives the loudest noise..
