I’m off to Albuquerque, New Mexico in July and have to leave my gixxer at home in New England. Does anyone know of a sport bike rental shop in the area? So far all I’ve found is Blue Sky rentals and they’d rather put me on a Harley. I’m not opposed to driving a couple hours if it’ll get me a better selection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of anyone that rents sport bikes. The closest I can think of is I belive the local Harley Dealer will rent out Buells. Better than a cruiser. The dealer is called Chicks HD.

i believe easy riders rents bikes also but im not sure if they rent sport bikes.

only bike ive seen for rent are buels

You can rent mine if it's running but don't get pulled over or you'll be spending the night in the grey bar hotel and I don't bail people out.

Sorry, to bring it back up, but I happen to know that none of the rental places here have sportbikes. They're too much of a liability. I looked up and down all over in about a 4 hour radius of Albuquerque and no one will do it. Chicks or easyriders will rent you a Buell though, like the others said. There are probably some pretty cool guys around here that'll rent a bike out to you though, provided you have the cash in hand to pay for the bike if you total it. Thanks for checking. I’m pretty much coming to the same conclusion. I don't let anyone on my bike so I won't be a hypocrite and take someone else’s personal bike for a day or two. Looks like its a couple days on a Buel for me. It won’t be a Gixxer but it won’t be a cage either.
