If it's not one thing it's another. In the process of pressing on the adjustable cam sprockets I managed to damage part of the cam (see below). It is the part that rides in the cam bridge. (only broke a small piece of fof it) I've had the worst luck on this whole project, someone just tell me that it shouldn't hurt anything. The pic isn't of my actual cam but to give you an idea of the area of damage...the part between the sprocket and the first lobe.

Seems like it could unbalance the cam shaft which could wear bearings out very fast.

If you need them, I have a set of stock cams out of my 02 GSXR1000. Cams in great condition and only have about 3K miles on them. If you need them, you can have them. Just pay for shipping and they are yours.
