I dunno what thier problems are but they are in a bad bad rut. We have to have one of the best rosters namewise in the whole NHL yet we can't play like a team.
Our defense is breaking down bigtime. Our offence is too worried about passing rather than shooting.
I LOVE Morris, he is a great player but I think we miss Drury and Yelle more than we have seen any help from Morris, Macammond, and Shantz.
The one funny thing about the game against the Ducks last night was Macammond's slapshot taking off thier goalies helmet images/icons/shocked.gif
Man it is just really sad.

Yup, the AV's are eating dick this year. They did pull one out with a good comeback today to win it in OT against Carolina, WOO-HOO! graemlins/bounce.gif

That is amazing about Ottawa...they're kicking butt and mowing teams down and their fans don't care. That's just plain weird. Oh, and GO STARS!!! That was a nice win against Colorado on Saturday.

hope the avs dont make the playoffs. they always kick my teams ass so i hope they fall apart

Heh heh heh...I loved the way Turco smacked Forsberg upside the head when he crashed the net. Then as Forsberg was laying on the ice he looked up at the referee to see if they were going to call a penalty. He should have gotten up faster when he realized he wasn't going to draw one. I missed part of the game, unfortunately, but heard that Hatcher gave Foote more than he could handle!

And you may have outshot us 11-0 during a small time period, but Turco kept you out of the net! The only one he gave up was a funky bouncing deflection off a player. You got nuttin! graemlins/laugh.gif

I'm all for goalies keeping control of their crease, but that's ludicrous. One of our junior goalies (Jason LaBarbera, now in the Rangers farm team) did the same thing but not as hard and got a match penalty and a 3 game suspension. It was the right call then and should be the right call today.

Oh, what I meant to say was, it was unfortunate that when Forsberg crashed the net that he knocked Turco off balance and as Turco was trying to right himself, his arm flailed and *MAY* have come close to touching Forsberg in a vulnerable area...yeah, that's what I meant! graemlins/bounce.gif
