I used to play the shit outta EA 98 NHL on my ps1. I haven't even gotten around to getting a ps2, but will pick one up in 3 months or so. I have played the 03 NHL on a buddies and it kicks ass! I like the flow of the play better on the old 98 version though. graemlins/thumbup.gif

i used to play alot but i have not bought a game in a few years. the last i played was nhl 2001 and it was sweet.

I got NHL Hitz 2003 the other day for XBOX. That game is loads of fun. Especially with 4 players. The "realism" is not that great, but it is really fun boardchecking someone through the glass into the crowd. Of course it is only 3-3 hockey (plus your goalie) and you can play in arenas such as a Shark Tank and a Disco Bar, so if you want something a little more like real hockey, get NHL2003. But if you like fighting, and checking people really hard with no penalties then get HITZ.
